Wanna know about Landon? Well here you go...
The Beginning: Landons professional career started with Bayer Leverkusen of the German Bundesliga when Landon was just 16. Unfortunatly for Leverkusen, Landon was not happy with his lack of playing time and opted to come home and play with a MLS club. Landon was allocated to the San Jose Earthquakes. In his rookie season he was the 2nd leading scorer with the Quakes, they would go on to win the MLS Cup. Landon also scored 4 goals at the MLS All-Star game
2002: This year would prove to be a most important one in the success of Landon as well as US Soccer. Landon was chosen as on of the elite to play for the USMNT at the World Cup, where he would be the youngest player to score that time around. The US's success would help Landon become the poster boy for US Soccer as he and his team mates made all the talk show stops- The Tonight Show, The Late Show, TRL, Live with Regis and Kelly--just to name a few.
